The Brief History of the Dead By: Kevin Brockmeier

This book was extremely entertaining. It is about a city of dead people, who still have people who remember them on Earth. A pandemic hits Earth and wipes out everyone, except for one scientist doing research in Antarctica. As the book develops it becomes apparent that she is the only one to survive the pandemic so anyone in this city had some connection to her. Eventually, as her equipment breaks, she starts to die and the city shrinks until eventually, it seems, there will be nothing. The concept and writing of this book was great and it was a nice, easy, entertaining, read.
