Pachinko By: Min Jin Lee

Wow, I have not read such a beautiful historical novel in a long time. This book spans generations following a family of Koreans living in Japan from the early 1900's to 1989. This book was almost 500 pages, yet it felt like I flew through it. The book not only highlighted the family but also told the history of Japan and occupied Korea during that time. This book is a journey of learning from start to finish, making me that much more passionate about the book.
