All the Ugly and Wonderful Things By: Brynn Greenwood

The title of this book explains the essence of the book itself. The happenings in the book are ugly: with the main characters parents being drug dealers, abusive, and very hands off. They forget to register her for school among other things. Yet, this book is simultaneously wonderful. Wavy, the young girl, loves stars and constellations, fall in love (albeit at the age of 13), and cares for her younger brother Donal. This book stole my heart and changed my definition of love.
