The Bone Sparrow By: Zana Fraillon

This book was heart wrenching. It pulled ALL the heartstrings. The story revolved around a refugee boy in an Australian detention camp. It was sad, passionate, inspiring, and told from the hopeful perspective of a 10 year old boy. Despite the fact that this is meant for middle grade readers, this book can touch people of all ages.

This was an advanced reader copy from NetGalley.
