The Chibok Girls By: Helon Habila

This is a nonfiction book written by a journalist from Nigeria about the 267 girls kidnapped from their school in 2014 by Boko Haram. There are several interviews from parents of the girls along with an interview with some of the girls who managed to escaped. I really enjoyed the brief but informative political history given. This was an educational, informative, and very sad book, but one that is so essential to understanding a truly horrific event in very recent history. Many of the girls still have not been found.
