I honestly wasn't super excited to read this book. It is based on character, Scarlett Epstein (if that wasn't assumed), who is a high schooler that writes fan fiction. Fanfic is just something I have never been super interested in. But I gave the book a shot, because it was sent in my Uppercase Box (a monthly book subscription box). I am glad I did. The characters were relatable. The writing was almost rhythmic between the patterns of hilarity, humility, and sincerity. It was a great YA novel.
