Redeployment By: Phil Clay

This book was an interesting piece of literature. It was a series of short stories told from the perspective of Marines in the Iraq War. One was from the perspective of a Chaplain who aids combat marines in dealing with their friends deaths and injuries. One was from the perspective of a sniper. Another an administration marine who went on to law school. The most memorable was that of someone hit by an IED which caused sever injury and dis-figuration to his face. This book was intense, sad, and definitely deserved it's National Book Award recognition.
