Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children By: Ransom Riggs

This book was interesting to say the least. To be honest, the only reason I haven't read is until now is the cover creeped me out a bit. One of the girls I coach in volleyball recommended it to me though so I gave it a shot. I actually read it in a day, so that should say something about the book in itself. I was not wrong, it is pretty creepy, and most of the pictures are genuine, which makes it even more creepy! Overall it was unique, entertaining, and had some of my favorite book quotes in it:

"Stars, too, were time travelers. How many of those ancient points of light were the last echoes of suns now dead? How many had been born but their lights not yet come this far? If all the suns but ours collapsed tonight, how many lifetimes would it take us to realize that we were alone?"

"I used to dream about escaping my ordinary life, but my life was never ordinary. I had simply failed to know how extraordinary it is"
