Find a Book for Everyone on Your Holiday List!

Shopping for people is hard. Luckily, books are a great solution! Even for someone who "doesn't like" reading (aka my fiance who is now reading a 600 page book!).

Here is my list of books for different types of people!

If you have an AVID READER in the family, any of the following books will make them happy, for they are happiest with a book in their hand, regardless of the genre.

For the THRILL SEEKER:

Dark Matter: A thriller in all its glory, this book grabs you in the first sentence and drags you through time until the very last word.

The Swarm: An amazing book where the sea revolts against humankind and the pollution it has caused.

For the HISTORY LOVER:

Killing Lincoln: This book is completely non-fiction yet reads like a thriller.

Saffire: A beautifully written novel set during the construction of the Panama Canal.

For the FAMILY COMEDIAN:

The Girl With the Lower Back Tattoo: Amy Schumer, a breakthrough comedian. Nuff said.

Let's Explore Diabetes With Owls: Weird ass title, avoided the book for awhile because of it, a hilarious read.

For the person who ISN'T AFRAID TO TRY SOMETHING NEW:

The Complete Persepolis: a memoir in comic strips and one of the greatest journeys I have ever read.

For the person WHOSE NAME YOU PULLED FROM THE HAT BUT YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THEY WOULD READ:

Illuminae: a thrilling, easy to read, unique format, that is the 600 page book my fiancee read.

A Man Called Ove: heartwarming, sassy (in it's own way), a book for everyone.

For the ADULT HARRY POTTER FAN:

A Discovery of Witches: vampires, daemons, witches, ghosts, everything a fantasy lover wants and more.

For any HARRY POTTER FAN:

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find them Screenplay: Yup it is here. And is definitely a way for the Harry Potter name to make more money. We all know we will fall for it though.

Illustrated version of Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets: no description needed.

For the YOUNG ADULT ADDICT:

Holding Up the Universe: Warning: will break your heart.

All the Bright Places: Double Warning: will tear your heart to shreds

Cinder: sci-fi, romance, fairy tales, all in one!

The Thousandth Floor: WOW JUST WOW this book was drop dead amazing.
