This book was an amazing build off of the first book. The first book, Matched, was very internal, choosing to defy the society, the challenge to understand the reality of their situation, but this book was more action. It built off those well developed thoughts and feelings and turned it into a reality. It also dealt deeply with the struggle of right and wrong. I loved the dilemmas the characters faced: they knew they did not like the Society, but does that automatically make them supporters of the Resistance? Once again I loved the thought and deliberation that went into every situation, because that's the way a person would most likely react.
