A Wolf at the Table By: Augusten Burroughs

This book was amazing. Augusten Burroughs is one of my all time favorite authors. His raw, emotional writing draws me in like no other author can. His book was about growing up with his father who was a sociopath. His father never showed love toward Augusten and had terrifying fits of rage, which had a major affect on his adult life. He spent a lot of time seeking the approval of his father, but even when his father was on his death bed, there were no words of love or comfort. The book is an emotional roller coaster which will pull readers from all backgrounds into the life of Augusten Burroughs.
